Salvador Sapena Women's 28660 Flat

Salvador Sapena was born in 1969 in Elda, near Alicante in Spain, the mecca of shoemaking in Spain. Salvador is a third-generation shoe designer and shoe maker in Elda, Spain. He started his own collection in 1995. Over the years, the collection has grown into 30 countries and it was recently introduced in the USA by Junbesi Group. Salvador Sapena Spring 07 is being carried by Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus Cusp and select boutiques across the country. The Fall/Winter 07 collection is ¿minimal chic¿ and draws its inspiration from the American women¿s view of fashion of the Sixties. Freedom of awareness and revival in post-World War II are expressed with a desire of ¿enhancement of the beauty of the soul in its pure and essential form¿. The forms are ¿strong¿ and basic, reduced to its necessary elements. Blocks of colours with clear boundaries (black, beige, red and green form the core palette) and heels are consistently represented. All the elements that compose the shoes are combined to form a single unit, with an only allowed contrast; the matte/brightness of materials, that this season are more trendy and functional. A key item is patent: versatile and with clear connotations. This material is also used in our bags that complement the shoe line and present geometric lines.
